Search Storeminator

Return to StoreMinator homepage

Did you know that you can add StoreMinator to your browser search bar and search for bargains on eBay and Amazon without visiting StoreMinator first? It's REALLY easy to do!

(NOTE: There is NO spyware involved, it uses the OpenSearch standard used by all browsers. We don't do spyware!!)

Add StoreMinator to Internet Explorer search bar

  • Make sure you are on a StoreMinator page (like you are now, hopefully :) )
  • Go to your search bar at the top of Internet Explorer (the box with the magnifying glass) and click the arrow next to it to see the options.
  • There should be a submenu Add search providers. Navigate to it and you should see the option StoreMinator search - click it!
  • You will be asked Do you want to add the following search provider..? Tick the box marked Make this my default search provider if you want to search StoreMinator by default. You can always change this in the Change search defaults section at the bottom of the search bar menu you clicked just now. Then click Add provider
  • Not much should happen - that's good! Now when you click the arrow next to the magnifying glass you can choose StoreMinator search and then type in whatever items you are looking for through StoreMinator!

Add StoreMinator to Firefox search bar

Installing StoreMinator search is even easier in Firefox!

  • Make sure you are on a StoreMinator page (if you're not, then we're not sure how you're reading this!)
  • Go to your search bar at the top of Internet Explorer. Click on Add "StoreMinator search".
  • Er, that's it! Now anytime you want to search for something to buy, choose StoreMinator Search from the dropdown list and search for those eBay and Amazon bargains! You can make StoreMinator Search your default by choosing Manage Search Engines from the drop-down list and then using Move Up and Move Down to change the order.
